How does private label gym gear work?
Private label gym gear works like this: a factory makes the product and you sell it under your own name, with your logo, colours, labels and packaging. You choose OEM (you send the tech pack), ODM (the factory helps develop the product from your idea) or a stock white label design. QST makes private label lifting belts, wrist wraps, straps and knee sleeves for US brands such as Gym Reapers and PRLifts.
Story (from QST’s own customer work): Gym Reapers, a US brand, came to QST after inconsistent quality from a previous supplier. QST now makes its lifting accessories with its own logo and designs to one standard across every batch, and the brand keeps placing repeat orders. PRLifts needed new products that did not exist yet, so QST developed the designs from scratch, from first sample to bulk, and that brand reorders too.
Comparison
OEM gives you the most control because you send the tech pack, ODM saves design work because the factory helps develop the product, and a stock white label design is the fastest start but the least unique. On price, all three are quoted per design, and the cost depends on material, logo method and quantity. Choose OEM if your design is finished, ODM if you only have an idea, and white label to test a market. The table below lines up the three models.

Pros and cons: Private label gives you your own brand, your own specs and steady repeat supply, but you accept a minimum order and carry the stock risk yourself. Reselling someone else’s branded product needs no minimum order, but you build no brand of your own and your margin stays low.
QST data: weightlifting MOQ 30 to 50 pieces per design, sample 7 to 10 days, bulk 4 to 5 weeks. Repeat orders for one US brand have included up to 100,000 wrist wraps and 30,000 leather belts (figures from one or two orders, not lifetime totals).
